How to Turn Off Safe Mode on the LG Optimus F60

How to Turn Off Safe Mode

LG Optimus F60

I've seen a ton of people that accidently put their phone into Safe Mode and without knowing how to turn it off well it becomes a pretty big issue. When Safe Mode is enabled you cannot use the internet or make phone calls. Which basically means your phone just turned into a paper weight... So, I figured I would put together the following video showing people how to turn this off and regain the ability to use your phone again. Fyi, no this is not a problem with your phone nor is there a virus oon your phone. I have seen many sale people use this as a way to sell someone a new phone you have been warned this is really easy to fix on any phone!

Thats right it is that easy to fix LOL! No big long solutions and definitely do not need to hard reset the phone and lose all your info/apps. Always make sure to check my site or YouTube channel for the solution before going to a store. Can't find the fix? Leave your problem in the comments of this blog or one of my videos on YouTube and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Picture Mail Not Working Metro PCS (Fixed)

Picture Mail Not Working Fix

Metro PCS

Had a couple people lately that can't seem to send or receive picture mail on their phone's. It took me a little while but I did find the solution to this pesky problem. No you don't have to go buy a new device this can actually be fixed on your own without any help other than this blog! This seems to be more common with the LG Optimus L70 but I'm sure this fix will work on any Metro PCS device! Well here's the solution....

Thats my Purple Android no you can't have him!

- How to Change the APN Metro PCS -

Step 1. You need to go through your messages and delete any picture mail that may still be trying to send. To delete go to the message that says sending and press and hold on the picture then select delete. Dont worry this only deletes the message not the picture!

Step 2. You need to go to your APN, to do this click on the App Drawer->Settings->Tethering and Networks->Mobile Networks->Access Point Names

There should be only one APN listed and it looks like this - MetroPCS

Step 3. Click the Menu button then New APN. Set up the APN as follows

Name: MetroPCS1
APN: fast.t-mobile-com
Proxy: leave blank
Port: leave blank
Username: leave blank
Password: leave blank
MMS Proxy: leave blank
MMS Port: leave blank
MCC: leave alone
MNC: leave alone
Authentication type: leave blank
APN protocol: leave alone
APN roaming protocol: leave alone

Step 4. Press the Menu button and select Save.

Step 5. Make sure to select the new APN. Then back out of the settings.

Step 6. Send a picture! Everything should work great now.

This looks way more complicated than it is. Don't worry anything that can be done wong with this can be fixed! This also happens to be how you setup the APN on an unlocked phone to activate it on Metro PCS.

How to Use / Turn Off Talk Back Mode on any Android

Talk Back Mode
Any Android Device

Talk Back is designed to make using a touch screen phone possible for the visually impaired or blind. I've seen a lot of people turn this on by accident and if you don't know how to navigate the phone with this turned on it is almost impossible to turn it off. You can tell if your phone is in Talk Back mode if anything you click on highlights the option and tells you what it is but doesn't open the app. I even had one customer tell me the last store told them the phone has a virus LOL, always get a second opinion because salesmen will lie when they don't know the answer.... Read on to see how to navigate your phone and turn this feature off.

- Talk Back -

1. To open an app you have to click on it once (highlighting the app) then while it is highlighted double tap on the app. If done correctly it will now open. This is the same to open the App Drawer, tap it once to highlight then double tap to open.

2. Now that you have your app drawer open you need to scroll your screen to get to the Settings icon. To swipe the screen you have to use 2 fingers and swipe in the desired direction. Once you see the Settings icon tap it once to highlight and double tap to open.

3. Now you should be in your Settings Menu. You will need to scroll to Accessibility, once again use 2 fingers to scroll then tap once to highlight and double tap to open.

4. On most Android phones Talk Back is the first option. Tap once to highlight and double tap to turn off. Done your phone should be back to normal now!

If for some reason this didn't work for you I made this video showing exactly how to turn it off.

Of course last resort you can always do a Hard Reset. Check out my YouTube Channel to see how to hard reset your phone!

Samsung Galaxy Avant LTE
Gaming Demo

Looking for a new phone and not sure which to buy. Well here's a couple video's that may help. Hell I've seen phone 2 or 3 times the price run slower than this bad boy. See for yourself below in these videos.

Temple Run 2

If you think that was good check out this fast paced high graphic game for Android.

Moto Loko

Temple Run 2 and Moto Loko can both be downloaded for free in the Google Play store! Download them today and see if your phone matches up to the Samsung Galaxy Avant LTE! ZTE Zmax Sales Suspended !

Metro PCS

Well I never personally cared for ZTE phones and this just confirms my thoughts on them. Metro PCS has suspended sales of the ZTE ZMAX until further notice. No reason has been given but no stores are allowed to sell them whether they have them in stock or not. I would imagine this is due to poor quality but I could be wrong. For all those people who want that huge screen at a low end pricing sorry but I would suggest checking out the Samsung Galaxy Avant instead. It has the same price point ($99) and is definitely live's up to the Galaxy name!
