Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Edge Safe Mode

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Edge
Safe Mode

Safe mode is used to remove 3rd party apps that could be corrupting your phone and making it so you can't uninstall them. When safe mode is enabled barely anything works this is because it disables the apps on the phone so they cannot interfere with removing them. First I'll explain how to get into safe mode then I will explain how to turn it off. It is also quite common for someone to get stuck in Safe Mode when booting their phone. This is merely a mistake on the users part I have never seen a phone do this on it's own and probably never will.

Turn on safe mode

  1. Turn the device off.
  2. Press and hold the Power and Volume down key.
  3. Continue to hold the Volume down key until the device finishes restarting.
  4. Safe mode will display in the bottom left corner of the screen.
  5. Release the Volume down key when you see Safe Mode.

Uninstall third party applications

  1. From any Home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Scroll to 'APPLICATIONS,' then tap Application manager.
  4. If necessary, swipe right to the Downloaded screen.
  5. Tap the desired application.
  6. Tap Uninstall.
  7. Tap OK.

How to Turn Safe Mode Off

  2. Tap Restart.
