How to Factory Data Reset the ZTE Avid Pro

ZTE Avid Pro Hard Reset

A master reset restores the original factory settings and may delete your personal data on the internal storage, such as downloads, ringtones, images, apps, contacts, and Visual Voicemail. Make sure to have the logins for the Gmail that was on the phone before performing a hard reset on the device. Otherwise you will not be able to regain access to the phone. Also make sure to remove your memory card and sim card, it's just safer this way....

If the device menus are frozen or unresponsive, you can master reset using hardware keys.

  1. Begin with the device turned off.
  2. First, press and hold just the Power key for 1-2 seconds, then quickly press and hold the Volume Up key as well.
  3. Continue to hold both buttons until the Select Boot Mode screen displays.
