Samsung Galaxy S6 Coming to Metro PCS

Samsung Galaxy S6 Metro PCS

That's right Metro PCS will be getting the Samsung Galaxy S6, rumor is it will be on the shelf by April (this is rumor not confirmed. There seem's to be nothing solid as far as feature's and spec's for this phone. It is assumed that the GS6 will have the curved edge screen as well as that it may be made completely of metal making it very durable. The processor may be a Exynos 7420 octa-core 64-bit processor or it could end up being Snapdragon 810 64-bit chip. It is also rumored that there will be at least a 20 Mega Pixel camera.

Leaked benchmark results seemingly confirm the 64-bit Exynos processor will power at

least one S6 model. The results hint Android 5.0 Lollipop, 3GB of RAM, and 32 GB of

storage will be also feature. Meanwhile, another leaked benchmark result published by

Dutch website Mobifo shows an octa-core ARMv8 and a Mali-T768 graphics unit, which

correspond to the 64-bit Samsung Exynos 7420 chip. The screenshot also

shows Android 5.0 Lollipop as the Galaxy S6’s operating system.

Supply chain sources tell DigiTimes that Samsung will limit the number of Galaxy S6

phones with the Snapdragon 810 chip inside due to overheating concerns. Apparently, 80

to 90 percent of the processors used in the S6 will be Samsung’s Exynos chips at first.

A bigger, Quad-HD screen is in the works

Sources talking to SamMobile say the S6 is being pitched as the ultimate high-end phone, and the

screen is said to sport a Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. It’s no surprise that Samsung’s

considering a QHD screen on the Galaxy S6, especially after introducing it on the Galaxy Note 4. The

screen will most likely measure between 5.3 and 5.5 inches, but no more, so as to preserve the

distinction between the Galaxy S and Note lineups.
