How to Move Pictures Onto a Computer

Well everyone fills their memory card up one day and who wants to delete all your old pictures just to take a few more. Not me, so here's how to move them onto your computer for safe keeping.

  1. Connect the USB cord to the phone, then to a computer.
  2. Touch the Status bar and drag down to open the Notification screen.
  3. Tap USB connected.
  4. Tap Connect USB storage.
  5. On your computer, click Open folder to view files and click OK.
  6. You will see another Removable Disk window, click Open folder to view files and click OK again.
  7. One folder shows files saved in your phone memory and one folder shows files saved on your SD card.
  8. Locate the folder that contains files you want to move. Pictures are stored in the DCIM folder.
  9. Once you have located the files, right click and select Cut.
  10. Go to the folder you want the pictures stored in and right click again then select Paste.
  11. When done, on your phone, tap Disconnect storage from PC.

***This will work for any files that you have downloaded to your phone. Excell, Word, Powerpoint, or any other file format for that matter.
