Huawei P20 Pro Hard Reset from Android Recovery

Locked out of your phone or just need to erase it? Here's how to factory reset the Huawei Mate 10 and regain access! Warning, this will erase all user data and if you do not have your information properly backed up and know your Gmail logins then I do not suggest using this method! Reasons to Hard Reset:
  1. Fix multiple crashes– Delete viruses
  2. Reset the settings to what it was in the case where errors
  3. Delete the names stored in the device
  4. Deleting files from the device
  5. Heavy use of the device 
  6. Locked out of phone and need to bypass the lock screen

First method: Hard Reset Huawei P20 Pro

  1. First of all, Power of the Huawei P20 Pro.
  2. Next, Press and hold together: Volume Up + Power button for about 9 seconds.
  3. You should release held keys when the Huawei logo appears on the screen.
  4. Select using Volume buttons “wipe data/factory reset“, confirm that with Power button.
  5. Choose “wipe data/factory reset” from the menu, & accept it with Power key.
  6. accept option “reboot system now” using the Power button.
  7. Congratulations! The hard reset has just been achieved.

Second method: Factory Reset Huawei P20 Pro

  1. Go to the Main Menu.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. scroll down to Advanced settings
  4. Tap Backup and Reset.
  5. Select Factory Data Reset.
  6. Check Reset phone if you would like to erase all the data on the phone internal storage.
  7. confirm the whole operation tapping Reset phone one more time.
  8. Well done! The factory reset has just completed.
